THERMOCOUPLES (TC), THERMOWELLS ANDÂ THERMORESISTANCES (RTD)
The simple construction of the thermocouple and the wide range of temperatures to which it is adapted allows it to be used as a primary element for the detection of standard temperature, even in situations in which thermoresistance (RTD) have obvious advantages.Â
Indispensable to protect the thermoelements from the most aggressive environments, Raffaele S.r.l. wells meet the most severe conditions of use.
The construction of the wells is performed by a bar stock, made of stainless steel materials and by a seamless pipe for any length requirement and with ceramic sheaths for service in high temperature furnaces or incinerators, according to the main ISA, UOP, EXXON standards.
The variation of the resistance of a material with the temperature can be used to measure the temperature on a very large scale. The commonly used materials are nickel and platinum. Platinum is stable and very resistant to corrosion and oxidation, so it has a very wide field of application.
Raffaele S.r.l. sensors are made by controlled purity platinum wires on a high purity ceramic support.

VALVES

Among the most popular valves Raffaele S.r.l. produce there are:
GLOBE VALVES FOR INSTRUMENTATION
The valves of the 9-V33 series (angled body) and 9-V34 (globe body) are specifically designed for the interception of instruments and lines on steam and high pressure fluids
FORGED VALVES LIGHTWEIGHT SERIES
Valves with forged body, light series, with pin or plug stopper for interception of instruments and general use for small diameter lines. Threaded or Socket connections, from 1/8 "to ¾" with passage holes from 3 to 11 mm. 9-V301 / 9-V304
VALVES FOR FRAME ASSEMBLY
With forged body, suitable for panel mounting, with needle shutter and plug for interception of instruments. Threaded connections from 1/8 "to 1/2" with passage holes from 3 to 7 mm. 9-V311
PORTAMANOMETER VALVES
1. FORGED: The pressure gauge valves of the 9-V400 series are ideal, due to their practicality and low cost, for the installation of pressure gauges and pressure switches
2. FRAMEWORK: The pressure gauge valves of the 9-V410 series are ideal, due to their practicality and economy, for the installation of pressure gauges and pressure switches

MANIFOLD FLANGES
MANIFOLD WITH TWO VALVES FOR PRESSURE INSTRUMENTS
In order to simplify the connection of instruments such as pressure gauges, pressure switches, transmitters, indicators and recorders to pressure taps, the manifold has been developed with a monobloc body that makes the installation cheaper, more elegant, faster and less cumbersome.
MANIFOLD WITH THREE VALVES FOR INSTRUMENTS
The 9-V140, 9-V150, 9-V160 series monobloc manifolds, thanks to their universal character, allow the realization of all the possible connections.
MANIFOLD FLANGES WITH THREE VALVES FOR INSTRUMENTS
Series 9-V170. Printed body. Manifold group with three valves with flanged connections. Suitable for direct coupling on differential pressure transmitters with a 54 mm wheelbase.
MANIFOLD FLANGES / THREADED VALVES FOR INSTRUMENTS
Series 9-V177 are suitable for application on differential pressures. For direct coupling on instruments with differential pressure transmitters with 54 mm wheelbase.

PRIMARY FLOW ELEMENTS
To meet the various industrial requirements that require plants with high yields and low operating costs, Raffaele S.r.l. produces a complete line of flowmeters.
ORIFICE FLANGES AND ORIFICE PLATE
The orifice plate for measuring the flow rate of liquids, gases and vapors in the pipes, are the most widespread and used by the plant industry thanks to their reliability and precision, being built according to the standards: ISO 5167, ASME PTC 19.5, BS 1042, UNI CNR 10023, ANFORX.10.101, DIN 1952, LKSPINK, SHELL.
FLOW NOZZLE
The flow nozzles offer significant advantages compared to orifice plates, since, at the same ratio of throttling (d/D), they have a flow capacity of about 60% greater.
VENTURI
Venturi tubes are used to obtain accurate flow measurement where a minimum of permanent pressure loss is required. They are known for their long duration of use, the stability of the efflux coefficient and their capacity to recover the differential pressure (up to 90%).
PRESSURE REDUCERS
Calibrated restrictions are used to limit flow rate or reduce line pressure. Raffaele Srl offers a wide range of single or multiple drop pressure reducers:
